Ingredients
- 5 cups flour
- 2 egg yolks
- 2 cups lukewarm milk, or as needed for the flour
- 2 tablespoons instant yeast
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- A pinch of salt
- 1 tablespoon butter, at room temperature
- Chocolate sauce for decoration:
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup milk powder
- 1/2 cup water or liquid milk
- 1/2 cup oil - less or more, depending on the sauce thickness

Method
- Mix all the ingredients together except the butter, then start adding the lukewarm milk gradually while kneading
- Finally, add the butter and knead well
- Cover the dough and let it rise well
- After that, shape the dough into balls according to the donut size you want, and arrange the pieces on parchment paper so the doughnuts keep their shape, then cover them again for 1 hour so they can rest wellTimers: 60 min
- After 1 hour, use a very small cutter and cut out the center of each piece to get the final donut shapeTimers: 60 min
- Let the donuts rest for another hour before frying
- Fry the donuts in plenty of hot oil over medium heat so they do not burn if the heat is too high
- Remove the donuts from the oil and place them on paper towels to absorb any excess oil
- Once they have cooled, decorate them with chocolate sauce or as desired
