Filling:
2 cups milk
2 eggs
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons flour
A pinch of vanilla
Zest of lemon
Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup softened butter (about 125 grams)
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 medium spoonful vanilla
- a pinch of salt
- grated lemon zest
- Filling:
- 2 cups milk
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons flour
- a dash of vanilla
Method
- First mix the filling ingredients, then place the mixture over low heat, stirring continuously until it thickens. Remove from the heat and set aside to cool.
- Mix the dough ingredients well and press the dough into a tart pan lightly greased with a little butter and dusted with a pinch of flour.
- Prick the dough with a fork so it doesn't puff up during baking...
- You can also place a sheet of baking paper over the dough and put chickpeas or beans on it to weigh the dough down and prevent it from rising during baking.
- Put the tart pan into a preheated oven at 180°C.
- When the crust takes the desired golden color remove it from the oven. At this point the filling will have cooled; put the filling over the tart crust and decorate as desired with strawberries or any other fruit you have on hand...
