  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 liter liquid milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 100 grams butter
  • Shredded coconut
  • Cream or clotted cream for garnish
  • Pistachios

Method

  1. Mix the flour, sugar, and milk in a deep pot, place it over low heat until the mixture thickens and becomes like the consistency of muhallebi (milk pudding).
  2. Remove from heat and add the vanilla and room-temperature butter, then mix well.
  3. Prepare a tray and spread a generous layer of grated coconut on its base, then pour the mixture over it and place the tray in the refrigerator for two hours; afterwards remove and cut into medium pieces.
  4. Spread cream or qaimar (clotted cream) on the dessert pieces or Sultan's Bites and roll them into a roll shape, then garnish with pistachios.
