  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 packet ready-made whipping cream powder
  • 1/2 kg strawberries
  • Honey
  • Vanilla

Method

  1. Put 1 1/4 cups milk in a saucepan over heat until it warms.
  2. In another bowl, whisk the egg yolks with vanilla and sugar, then add the cornstarch. Pour the mixture over the hot milk while stirring constantly until it thickens. Spread the "crème pâtissière" in a bowl to cool and cover it so the surface does not dry.
  3. Whip the cream mix with 1/2 cup cold milk, then add the previously mashed strawberries and the "crème pâtissière".
  4. Place a piece of plastic wrap in the bottom of the mold that will hold the mousse before putting it in the refrigerator overnight or for at least four hours.
  5. Finally, turn the strawberry mousse from the mold onto a serving plate and drizzle honey over it.
