Lobia with meat is one of the tastiest dishes and is served with rice. It is very easy to prepare and does not need tomato sauce like stew.

Ingredients

  • Half a kilo of lobia
  • 300 grams meat (or veal), lamb pieces for boiling
  • 1 dried onion
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 1 tablespoon ghee
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Dried coriander
  • Ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup water

Method

  1. Sauté the finely chopped garlic and onion in the ghee until softened, then add the meat pieces and the spices and stir until the meat takes on a nice color
  2. Trim the ends of the lobia pods, wash them and drain them, then add them to the sauté and continue stirring
  3. Lower the heat, cover the pot, and leave the lobia on the heat until it softens well, stirring every now and then
  4. Add 1 cup of hot water and the salt, and leave the lobia with meat on the heat until fully cooked and the meat becomes tender
  5. Serve the lobia with meat with fluffy rice
