- 12 pieces cream cheese, or one 225 g package cream cheese
- 2 teaspoons orange juice
- 1 teaspoon orange zest
- 1/3 cup sugar
- A pinch of vanilla
- 1 egg beaten with 1 tablespoon water and a pinch of vanilla

Method
- Beat the cheese with the sugar, orange juice and zest, and vanilla. Place 1½ tablespoons of the filling in the center of each puff pastry square. Arrange the pieces of fruit of your choice on top.
- Brush the edges or rounds of the pastry with the beaten egg, then sprinkle a little sugar on the edges.
- Bake the puff pastry in a preheated oven at 200°C until it puffs and browns.
- Serve the fruit puff pastry cold.
