Ingredients
- 3 boneless chicken breasts
- 1 medium onion
- 1 (500 g) package fettuccine pasta
- 2 cups milk
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1/4 cup heavy cream, or a container of unsweetened qashta cream
- 1 can sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 cup mozzarella or Parmesan cheese
- White pepper
- Black pepper
- Salt to taste

Method
- Finely chop the garlic cloves
- In a frying pan over medium heat, put one tablespoon of butter and a little of the chopped garlic and sauté
- Add the chicken breasts cut into small cubes over the garlic and sauté
- When the chicken turns golden, sprinkle salt and white pepper, stir, and turn off the heat. In another pot, put a little butter and the remaining chopped garlic and the finely chopped onion and sauté over medium heat
- When the onion changes color, add the sliced mushrooms and sauté for five minutes with a pinch of white pepper and salt
- Sprinkle the flour over the mushrooms and stir in a circular motion, then pour in the cream (or crème fraîche) with the milk and stir in a circular motion until the mixture boils
- Add the cheese to the mixture while stirring, then add the previously fried chicken pieces. Leave this mixture over low heat until it thickens slightly
- Boil the pasta in salted water with a tablespoon of vegetable oil, drain it and place it in the serving dish
- Pour the milk, cream, and chicken mixture over the pasta and garnish with parsley or grated cheese or as desired
