- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 medium onion
- 300 grams fettuccine pasta
- 2 cups liquid milk
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1/4 cup cooking cream
- 1 cup chopped mushrooms
- 1/2 cup mozzarella or Parmesan cheese
- A pinch of white pepper
- A pinch of salt
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Method
- Start by chopping the garlic cloves finely, then heat a skillet, add 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat and add some of the chopped garlic.
- Cut the chicken breasts into small cubes, then add them to the butter and garlic and sauté together until the chicken takes on a light golden color and browns slightly, then add a little salt and white pepper to taste.
- In another pan put the remaining butter and garlic, chop the onion into small pieces and add it to the garlic and butter, sauté over medium heat until the onion turns light golden, then add the mushrooms and sauté together for 5 minutes, adding white pepper and salt to taste.Timers: 5 min
- Sprinkle a quantity of flour over the mushrooms and stir quickly, then add the cream (you can substitute it with clotted cream if preferred) and add the milk, stirring until it comes to a boil. Add the cheese to the mixture while stirring, then add the chicken pieces and leave the mixture on low heat.
- Boil the pasta in salted water, drain it and place it on a serving plate, pour the sauce over it and garnish with parsley, you can add a little extra cheese for garnish.
