Ingredients

  • 1 small can sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 teaspoons sahlep powder
  • 1 packet ready-made crème caramel mix with the sugar included inside
  • 1 packet sugar from a second crème caramel box, without using the crème caramel powder
  • 1 cup very cold water
  • 2 ice cubes
  • 1 packet ready-made whipped cream powder
  • Caramel:
  • 5 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream or liquid cream
  • How to Make the Caramel:

Method

  1. Mix all the ingredients for 2 minutes with an electric hand mixer, then add one ice cube and beat on low speed for 1 minute. Add the second ice cube and continue beating until you get a stretchy, thick consistency...
    Timers: 2 min, 1 min
  2. Place the mixture on parchment paper in the mold or on kitchen plastic wrap.
  3. Freeze the ice cream for at least 4 hours, until it is well set and firm.
    Timers: 240 min
  4. Put the sugar over heat until it caramelizes and all the granules melt. Add the cream or liquid cream, and be careful of the steam or bubbling mixture.
  5. When we notice that the mixture has crystallized and become solid, place it over low heat until it melts completely, for about 7 minutes on low heat, and serve cold over the boozah or ice cream.
    Timers: 7 min
