How Do We Make Jelly Cake with Fereez or Strawberries?

A very delicious cake with strawberry jelly and pieces of fresh strawberries... We recommend trying this recipe, especially if you have a generous amount of fresh strawberries.

Ingredients

  • 5 eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup liquid milk
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 cups sifted flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • A pinch of baking soda mixed in advance with 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 2 packets strawberry jelly

Method

Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.

  1. First, beat the eggs with the sugar, oil, and milk well until you get a smooth mixture...
  2. Add the sifted flour, baking powder, and vanilla.
  3. Mix well, then add the baking soda and vinegar mixture.
  4. Grease the cake pan with flour and a little oil or tahini, then pour in the batter... Bake the cake in a preheated oven on the middle rack for 45 minutes at 180 degrees.

  5. After the cake is done, set it aside to cool completely...
  6. Prepare the two packets of strawberry jelly according to the instructions on the box.
  7. Take an empty cake pan and arrange sliced strawberries or fereez on the bottom of the pan, then pour over one quarter of the jelly and place the pan in the refrigerator until the jelly sets well.
  8. When the jelly has set in the refrigerator, return the cake to the pan over the strawberries and jelly, then pour the remaining jelly over the cake...
  9. Place the cake in the refrigerator and leave it for 6 hours, then turn it out onto a serving plate
