  • 1 kg sifted flour
  • 3 cups warm milk
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 tablespoon yeast
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • A pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Method

  1. Mix the dry ingredients first then add the milk and knead well for fifteen minutes until the dough is non-sticky.
  2. You can oil your hand while kneading then prepare the desired fillings whether za'atar and cheese, labneh, or Nutella...
  3. Begin by rolling the dough into small balls, stuffing them, and arranging them in a baking tray, then cover with a cloth and leave to rise for two hours.
  4. After the required time brush the surface of the tray with oil or liquid milk or egg, sprinkle with sesame and put it in the oven on the middle rack to bake and brown for about 35 minutes or according to the oven's strength.
