Ingredients
- 1 cup cooked chickpeas soaked overnight with baking soda
- 3 cups yogurt
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 tablespoons tahini
- Salt to taste
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- Bread cut into cubes and fried in plenty of oil
- Fried nuts for garnish
Method
- Soak the chickpeas overnight.
- The next day, boil them with a little baking soda.
- Drain the chickpeas and place them in a Pyrex dish or serving plate.
- Mix the yogurt with the crushed garlic, tahini, salt, and ground cumin.
- Arrange the fried bread over the chickpeas in the serving dish, then pour the yogurt and tahini mixture over the bread.
- Garnish with fried nuts or as desired and serve the fatteh immediately.
