Easy Oatmeal Cake ... Here’s the simple, detailed method
Ingredients
- lemon zest
- 4 eggs
- a pinch of salt
- 2 cups sifted flour
- 1 1/2 cups oats
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon liquid vanilla
- 1 cup oil
- 1 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
Method
- Place the eggs, lemon zest, salt and vanilla in an electric mixer and beat well.
- Add the sugar and beat well.
- Add the milk and oil and beat well.
- Gradually add the sifted flour and one cup of oats and beat well, then add the baking powder and beat.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan greased with oil or tahini.
- Sprinkle half a cup of oats on top, then bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 50 minutes, or until done (depending on your oven).Timers: 50 min
- Serve the oat cake after it cools to room temperature.
