Easy milk cookies made with just 3 ingredients! A wonderful, simple recipe worth trying and serving to family and guests!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup + 1 teaspoon sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • Vanilla - optional
  • For decoration: apricot jam / optional
  • Melted chocolate / optional
  • Powdered sugar
  • Shape the cookie dough into round flat discs and press the center with the back of a teaspoon
  • Bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 180°C for 10 to 15 minutes
  • Remove the cookies from the oven and press again while still hot before the cookies set where we pressed with the spoon, then place apricot jam in the center
  • Decorate the milk cookies with melted chocolate and powdered sugar, or as desired and available

Method

  1. In a bowl, combine the cornstarch, sweetened condensed milk, butter, and vanilla. Stir with a spoon, then knead by hand until you get a soft dough.
  2. Shape the cookie dough into round, flat pieces, then press the center with a small spoon.
  3. Bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 180°C for 10 to 15 minutes.
    Timers: 15 min
  4. Remove the cookies from the oven and, while they are still hot, press them again where you made the indentation with the spoon before they set, then place apricot jam in the center of the circle.
  5. Decorate the milk cookies with melted chocolate and powdered sugar, or as desired and as available.
