Easy cookie recipe... a wonderful idea for entertaining and delighting the kids

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup butter (soft, at room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar - optional
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons liquid milk
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips or chopped chocolate, or more as desired
  • 2 eggs

Method

  1. Mix the flour with the baking powder and salt in a bowl
  2. In another bowl, beat the butter with an electric mixer until creamy, then add the sugar, vanilla, and eggs and beat for 2 minutes until the mixture becomes creamy and fluffy

  3. Add the flour mixture and liquid milk to the creamy mixture and mix, then add the chocolate chips and mix until cookie dough forms
  4. Place the cookie dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes until it firms up
    Timers: 30 min
  5. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and line a baking tray with parchment paper
  6. After the time has passed, shape medium-sized balls from the cookie dough and place them on the tray, spaced apart
  7. Place the tray in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes until cooked through (do not overbrown them so they do not become hard).. the balls will spread and take the shape of cookies because of the oven heat
    Timers: 15 min
  8. Serve the cookies at room temperature
