- Chicken

- 1 onion, finely chopped
- Coarse bulgur
- Olive oil
- 1 tablespoon caraway
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- Salt

Method
- Wash the chicken well and boil it in water with seasonings until cooked
- Remove the bones or leave the pieces as is, and reserve the cooking liquid to use later for cooking the bulgur
- In a pot over heat, sauté the chopped onion in olive oil until translucent
- Add the boiled chicken and stir with the onion, then add spices to taste and salt
- Add chicken stock according to the amount of bulgur you will cook (usually 1 cup bulgur needs 1 cup water)
- When the stock boils, add the washed and drained coarse bulgur
- Wait for the stock to return to a boil, then reduce the heat and cover the pot
- Let the bulgur with chicken cook on low heat until done — it needs 15 to 20 minutes
- Serve the bulgur with chicken with salad or yogurt as desired
