Date Biscuit Roll
A super easy, homemade recipe for making date biscuits. This recipe doesn't require many ingredients or much time, and everyone—young and old—will love it.
Ingredients

- 400 g ground dates
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 100 g melted butter
- Plain rectangular tea biscuits
- Toasted sesame seeds
Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Mix the cinnamon and melted butter with the dates, then roll the resulting dough between two sheets of parchment into a rectangle.
- Arrange the biscuits lengthwise, side by side, on top of the date dough, roll it like a Swiss roll over the biscuits, then place a second row of biscuits and roll again as shown in the accompanying photo.
- Sprinkle the sesame over the biscuits, wrap them tightly in parchment, and refrigerate for at least one hour until firm.
