  • 1/2 kilogram mashed dates
  • 100 g softened butter
  • a box plain biscuits
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • sesame seeds as needed
  • grated coconut as needed
  • colored chocolate shavings as needed

Method

  1. Mix the mashed dates with the butter and knead well.
  2. Grind the biscuits in a food processor or by hand. Add them to the date and butter mixture, sprinkle cinnamon, and continue kneading until you get a cohesive, uniform mixture.
  3. Form the mixture into small balls by hand. Dip the balls in desiccated coconut, sesame, or colored chocolate sprinkles, depending on availability and preference.
  4. Place the date and biscuit balls in cupcake liners and arrange them on a serving tray.
