Ingredients
- 5 cups sifted flour
- 1 tablespoon yeast
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- A pinch of salt
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 3 tablespoons powdered milk
- Warm water
- Today's croissant is from the kitchen of a friend of the Shaw Tabekhin Al-Yawm website:
- Em Hadi Saad
Method
- Knead the ingredients together and let the dough rest for some time.
- When the dough has risen, divide it into balls, then roll each ball out separately, brush it with soft butter, and place it in the refrigerator.
- Every half hour, remove it from the refrigerator, roll it out with a rolling pin, then return it to the refrigerator, repeating this four times in total.
- After the fourth time, cut the rolled dough into triangles and fill as desired, with cheese, chocolate, or za'atar, and brush the top of each piece with a little egg mixed with a pinch of vanilla...
- Place it in a preheated oven until golden brown.
