Ingredients

  • Chicken breasts, cut into lengthwise strips
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • Milk or water, as needed
  • 1 cup flour for coating the crispy pieces
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch for coating

Method

  1. Cut the chicken breasts into medium-length strips, then add salt, pepper, paprika, flour, cornstarch, and baking powder over the chicken and mix well.
  2. Add a little liquid milk or water until you obtain a sticky mixture and mix.
  3. Mix 1 cup of flour with 2 tablespoons of cornstarch in a wide bowl.
  4. Remove each piece of chicken from the sticky marinade, and dip it into the flour-and-cornstarch bowl so it is coated on all sides.
  5. Fry the crispy chicken pieces in plenty of oil until cooked and golden in color.
  6. Serve the crispy chicken with french fries and salads.
