Cocoa and Butter Cake — simple, perfect for a homemade dessert, and absolutely delicious
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 100 g butter at room temperature
- 1½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method
- Place the butter and sugar in a mixer and beat well until the mixture is creamy and white.
- Add the eggs one at a time and continue beating.
- Add the flour, cocoa, milk, baking powder and vanilla and beat as well.
- Preheat the oven for 10 minutes at 170°C, and pour the batter into a buttered and floured pan.
- Bake the cake in the oven for about 40 minutes or according to your oven's strength.
- Let the cocoa and butter cake cool well at room temperature before serving.
