Chocolate Sauce Cake... Prepare the chocolate sauce first to use it in making this quick and delicious cake.

Ingredients

  • Chocolate sauce:
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup liquid milk
  • 1 cup unsweetened dark cocoa
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • Cake:
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup of the chocolate sauce

Method

  1. Beat the sugar and milk with a hand whisk or stir quickly until the sugar dissolves well.
  2. Add the cocoa, oil, and vanilla and whisk.
  3. Take only one cup of this sauce to prepare the cake and reserve the rest to coat the cake later.
  4. Beat the eggs with the vanilla for about 5 minutes.
    Timers: 5 min
  5. Add the sugar and continue beating until you obtain a dense, creamy mixture.
  6. Add one cup of the chocolate sauce, the flour, and the baking powder and whisk until you get a homogeneous batter.
  7. Grease the baking pan with a little tahini or you can butter it and then dust with flour.
  8. Pour the cake batter into the pan and put it in the oven at 160°C for 40 minutes.
    Timers: 40 min
  9. Test the cake with a small wooden skewer; if it comes out dry, the cake is fully baked.
  10. Let the cake cool before turning it out onto a serving plate.
  11. When the cake has cooled, spread the remaining chocolate sauce over it and serve after the sauce sets.
