Chocolate cake with coconut shavings in a delicious recipe with a rich chocolate sauce for decorating .. a homemade cake that is always in demand, especially from children who love the brown color of the cake :)

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • Lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup melon or dried fruit (optional)
  • Chocolate sauce for decorating
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup liquid milk
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 1 packet cream powder + 1/4 cup cold milk
  • Method for the decorating sauce:
  • In the electric blender, beat 1/2 cup liquid milk, 1/2 cup vegetable oil, 1/2 cup sugar, and 1/2 cup cocoa
  • Separately, beat 1/4 cup cold milk with the packet of cream powder

Method

  1. Using a hand or electric whisk, beat the eggs with the vanilla and lemon zest, then add the sugar after a short while and continue beating until it completely dissolves
  2. Add the juice and beat, then add the oil and beat well until the cake mixture is combined
  3. Add the vinegar and mix, then add the dry ingredients. It is preferable to sift the flour beforehand 3 times
  4. When the mixture is combined, add the shredded coconut and the dried melon (optional) and mix
  5. Preheat the oven to 180 C and prepare the cake pan. Grease it with a very thin layer of tahini and pour in the Chocolate and Coconut Cake batter
  6. ... remove the air from the pan by tapping it lightly on a solid surface from all sides, then place it in the oven on the middle rack for 40 to 45 minutes or حسب قوة الفرن

  7. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool completely before decorating it with chocolate sauce
  8. Add the first mixture to the whipped cream and mix to get the sauce, then decorate the cake
