Ingredients

  • 200 g melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 3 eggs
  • 200 g flour or 1 1/2 cups
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 200 g cocoa powder or 1 1/2 cups

Method

  1. In a bowl... place the eggs and vanilla and stir well.
  2. Add the butter and sugar while continuing to mix.
  3. When the sugar dissolves... add the cocoa then the flour, continuing to mix until the batter is smooth and thick.
  4. Pour the chocolate brownie batter into a pan lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 25 minutes or until the brownies are done without drying out — they should remain soft.
  6. Decorate the brownies with chocolate sauce (cocoa powder mixed with sweetened condensed milk).
  7. It can be served warm with ice cream or at room temperature.
