Chicken with cream and herbs — an unconventional, very tasty chicken recipe
Ingredients
- Chicken thighs or boneless chicken breasts
- 1 small head of garlic
- Rosemary
- Sage
- Thyme
- or
- any herbs you have on hand
- 1 carton liquid cooking cream
- 2 1/2 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons flour
- a pinch of black pepper
- a pinch of sweet spice (allspice)
- garlic powder
- salt
- cinnamon
- 1 cup mushrooms
- olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
Method
- First, season the sliced chicken with salt and spices and let it marinate for about 1 hour.Timers: 60 min
- In a skillet, fry the chicken in a little oil until browned. Set aside.
- In the same skillet, add olive oil and the butter and sauté the crushed garlic with the herbs until softened, then add the mushrooms and cook until softened.
- Add the flour and stir, then add the cream or milk and mix well.
- Finally, add the chicken breasts and let everything simmer for about 15 minutes over medium to low heat.Timers: 15 min
