Chicken with cream and herbs — an unconventional, very tasty chicken recipe

Ingredients

  • Chicken thighs or boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 small head of garlic
  • Rosemary
  • Sage
  • Thyme
  • or
  • any herbs you have on hand
  • 1 carton liquid cooking cream
  • 2 1/2 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • a pinch of black pepper
  • a pinch of sweet spice (allspice)
  • garlic powder
  • salt
  • cinnamon
  • 1 cup mushrooms
  • olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Method

  1. First, season the sliced chicken with salt and spices and let it marinate for about 1 hour.
    Timers: 60 min
  2. In a skillet, fry the chicken in a little oil until browned. Set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add olive oil and the butter and sauté the crushed garlic with the herbs until softened, then add the mushrooms and cook until softened.
  4. Add the flour and stir, then add the cream or milk and mix well.
  5. Finally, add the chicken breasts and let everything simmer for about 15 minutes over medium to low heat.
