Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 100 g butter at room temperature
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk at room temperature
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Method

  1. Mix the dry ingredients together (except the sugar) and sift them.
  2. Place the butter and sugar in the mixer and beat, then add the eggs one at a time and continue beating.
  3. Add the milk and beat, then add the dry ingredients and beat.
  4. Preheat the oven for about 10 minutes to 170°C.
  5. Grease the cake pan with a little butter and dust with flour, then pour the butter cake batter into the pan.
  6. Bake until done, taking care not to open the oven to test it before half an hour.
  7. Serve the cake once it has cooled.
