Method

  1. Put the yeast, sugar, and salt in a bowl, then add the warm milk and stir well until the yeast and sugar are completely dissolved... then add the oil and the egg and whisk well using a whisk or a hand whisk...
  2. Add the baking powder, then gradually add the flour and knead by hand until the ingredients come together and you have a soft dough... Take the dough and place it in an oiled bowl and let it rest and rise well for about an hour...
  3. After the required time has passed, divide the dough into two equal halves and roll it out thinly.
  4. Brush the dough with melted butter, then cut it into strips lengthwise and roll them up until you have a circle..
  5. After rolling all the circles, arrange them in an oven tray and let them rest for another half hour so they can rise well.... After the required time has passed, brush the brioche circles with egg and place them in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes....
    Timers: 10 min
  6. After removing the brioche from the oven, brush it while hot with any jam you have ... In the accompanying photo, apricot jam was used
  7. Dip the edges in shredded coconut or any nuts as desired
