Ingredients
- 500 g minced meat
- A pinch of salt
- A pinch of nutmeg
- A pinch of seven-spice mix
- A pinch of black pepper
- Crushed (ground) biscuits or breadcrumbs
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup flour
- 1 small green sweet pepper, finely chopped
- 1 small red sweet pepper, finely chopped
- 2 dry onions, finely chopped
- Oil for frying

Method
- Put the minced meat in a bowl and add the very finely chopped onion and red and green peppers.. then add the spices and mix well to form the kofta.
- Shape them into rounds or balls and place them in the freezer for only half an hour until the meatballs firm up.
- After half an hour.. start dipping the balls in flour, then egg, and finally breadcrumbs, in stages.
- Deep‑fry the breaded kofta in plenty of hot oil until they are cooked and golden, then serve immediately.
