Ingredients
- 200 g ground beef
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 100 g fresh mushrooms, finely chopped
- 1/2 tsp seven-spice blend
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp turmeric (for color)
- salt
- 1 tbsp pomegranate molasses
- Two portions of cream cheese (like Kiri) or any available type
Method
- Sauté the ground beef in 1/4 cup oil. When the meat changes color, add the chopped onion.
- Add the chopped mushrooms and continue cooking until the filling is done.
- Add the spices, salt and pomegranate molasses, stir, then remove from the heat and drain off excess oil.
- Stir in the cream cheese until well combined.
- Use pre-made dough. Roll it out, cut, fill and seal as desired.

- Place the filled pieces on an oiled baking tray.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 12 minutes with top and bottom heat — watch carefully, as baking time varies by oven.Timers: 12 min
