  • Vegetable oil
  • Lemon juice
  • Vinegar
  • Seven-spice blend
  • Ground cinnamon
  • Black pepper
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder
  • Salt
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • A pinch of wild thyme / oregano

Method

  1. Wash the chicken well and rub it with salt and lemon, then place it in a colander.
  2. Prepare the marinade from all the spices listed in the ingredients. Add the chicken to the marinade and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.

  3. After the required time has passed, place the chicken in an oven-safe baking dish. Add the potato pieces and carrot pieces with the chicken, then place the tray in a preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the chicken is fully cooked.
