Preparation of dough: We mix the yeast with warm water and sugar, let it sit for ten minutes, then stir until fully dissolved.
In another bowl mix flour with oil and salt and a cup of water; knead, then add the yeast mixture and knead... add more water if needed.
Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for about two hours. Then cut into circles, roll each circle very thin, place filling, and bake on an oiled sheet in a hot oven.
Filling:\r\n1 kg mixed beef and lamb\r\n5 garlic cloves, minced\r\n5 medium red tomatoes\r\nA bunch of parsley\r\n1/4 bunch chopped mint\r\n1 medium onion (optional)\r\n1 tablespoon red pepper paste\r\n2 tablespoons tomato paste\r\n1/2 teaspoon black pepper\r\n1 tablespoon seven-spice\r\n1 tablespoon salt or to taste\r\nPine nuts (optional)

Ingredients

- 1 teaspoon sugar.
- 1 tablespoon instant yeast.
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil.
- 1 medium tablespoon salt.
- Approximately 1½ cups water, or as needed.

- 5 garlic cloves, crushed.
- 5 medium red tomatoes.
- 1 bunch parsley.
- 1/4 bunch mint, chopped.
- 1 medium onion (optional)
- 1 tablespoon red pepper paste (roasted pepper paste)
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste.
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
- 1 tablespoon seven-spice mix.
- 1 tablespoon salt, or to taste.
- Pine nuts (optional)
