Ingredients
Start here, then move straight into the method.
- 1 box shell pasta (or any other shape)
- 1 small onion
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 small can tomato paste (or 3 tablespoons)
- 1 ripe tomato, blended
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 3 tablespoons chopped parsley
- Salt to taste
- Oil
- A pinch of black pepper
- Water as needed

Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the box.
- In a pot, heat a little oil and add the chopped onion and garlic; sauté.
- When they soften, add the blended tomato, salt, oregano and tomato paste and stir. Then add one cup of water (or more) while stirring.
- Let the sauce simmer until it thickens slightly, then add the cooked, drained pasta and toss for just one minute.
- Turn off the heat and transfer the shell pasta with sauce to a serving dish.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot.
