Ingredients

  • One cup of thinly sliced orange zest
  • Two cups of sugar
  • One cup of water
  • One tablespoon orange blossom water and one tablespoon rose water
  • A little lemon juice
  • Two tablespoons of food coloring

Method

  1. In a pot on the stove, boil the sliced orange peels for about 10 minutes, then drain them...

  2. We begin making the syrup by adding the sugar, water, orange blossom water, and rose water to a pot on the heat... When the mixture comes to a boil, add a little lemon juice and then the boiled orange peels until the syrup thickens and the peels take on the color from the food coloring..
  3. Let it cool before transferring to airtight jars for storage...
