Raspberry Cake

Raspberry cake in a very easy and quick recipe. Raspberries are a tasty and very healthy fruit, but they're not always available... You can substitute raspberries with any similar fruit you have on hand, and you'll still get a good result.

Ingredients

Start here, then move straight into the method.

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 100 g butter
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 1 cup raspberries
  • "Asinat Al-Sham"

Method

Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.

  1. Beat the eggs with the vanilla for a few minutes...
  2. Add the sugar and continue beating until the sugar dissolves, then add the vegetable oil and then the butter.
  3. Add the flour with the baking powder and the yogurt alternately.
  4. Finally add the raspberries and stir the mixture with a wooden spoon.
  5. Pour the batter into the cake pan or the oven tray.
  6. Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 180°C.
  7. Leave the cake in the oven for about 40 minutes or until it's baked and has risen.
