Healthy brownies... an easy recipe with fewer calories and no oven required.

Ingredients

Start here, then move straight into the method.

  • 1 cup mixed nuts (half cup almonds + half cup walnuts) or to taste
  • 6 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup pitted soft dates
  • 4 tablespoons almonds, halved
  • Ganache
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Crushed almonds for garnish

Method

Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.

  1. Grind both types of nuts with the cocoa, salt, and dates well in a food processor.
  2. Line a pan with parchment paper, place the ground mixture in it, and press firmly by hand.
  3. Distribute the peeled, halved almonds on top and press them in.
  4. In a small bowl, combine the ganache ingredients — coconut oil, cocoa, and honey — and mix them well.
  5. Spread the ganache over the brownies and garnish with the crushed almonds.
  6. Place the pan in the fridge for about two hours.
