Pineapple and Chocolate Cake
Pineapple and chocolate cake... very easy and delicious. When pineapple meets cocoa, the flavor becomes irresistible. The apricot jam on top also helps keep it moist and enriches the taste even more!
Pineapple and chocolate cake.. an irresistible cake :)
Ingredients
Start here, then move straight into the method.
- Pineapple slices
- White batter
- 125 g butter, at room temperature
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp baking powder
- Chocolate batter
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Place parchment paper in the bottom of the pan
- Arrange half of the pineapple slices
- Start preparing the white batter: beat the sugar with the butter using an electric mixer, then add the eggs one at a time
- Turn off the mixer, add the flour, baking powder, and vanilla, and fold with a spoon
- Prepare the cocoa batter: beat the sugar with the butter using an electric mixer, then add the eggs one at a time
- Turn off the mixer, then add the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and vanilla and fold with a spoon
- Pour the white batter into the pan over the pineapple slices... then the cocoa batter
- Place some pineapple slices on top
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 40 minutesTimers: 40 min
- Brush the top of the pineapple and chocolate cake with apricot jam immediately after removing it from the oven
- Serve the pineapple and chocolate cake once it has cooled
