Pineapple and chocolate cake.. an irresistible cake :)

Ingredients:

Pineapple slices

White batter: 125 g butter, at room temperature 1 cup sugar 1 cup flour 3 eggs 1 tsp vanilla 1 tsp baking powder

Chocolate batter: 125 g butter, at room temperature 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup flour

1/2 cup cocoa powder

3 eggs

1 tsp vanilla 1 tsp baking powder

Preparation:

Line the bottom of the pan with parchment paper
Reserve half the pineapple slices
Start with the white batter: beat the sugar and butter with an electric mixer, then add the eggs one at a time
Turn off the mixer and add the flour, baking powder, and vanilla. Mix with a spoon
For the cocoa batter... repeat the same steps as for the white batter: beat the sugar and butter with an electric mixer, then add the eggs one at a time
Turn off the mixer, then add the flour, cocoa, baking powder, and vanilla and mix with a spoon
Pour the white batter into the pan over the pineapple slices, then add the cocoa batter
Place some pineapple slices on top
Bake in a hot oven at 180°C for 40 minutes
Brush the top of the pineapple and chocolate cake with apricot jam as soon as it comes out of the oven
Serve the pineapple and chocolate cake once it has cooled
