7 Up Cake
A delicious and very tasty 7 Up cake in an easy, tried-and-tested homemade recipe! You’ll love this cake and make it for all your sweet occasions :)
Ingredients

- 5 eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons powdered milk
- 3 cups sifted flour
- 1 1/2 tablespoons baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 1 cup 7 Up
- 2 tablespoons cocoa
- Zest of 1 orange
- Note
- It is important to use the same cup size for all ingredients. Also, make sure the eggs are at room temperature.
Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- First, beat the eggs, sugar, and vanilla well with an electric mixer until you get a creamy, white mixture.
- Add the vegetable oil, powdered milk, vinegar, soda or 7 Up, and grated orange zest, and continue beating the mixture.
- In another bowl, sift the flour, baking powder, and salt, then add the flour mixture over the egg mixture.
- Beat the ingredients with a wooden spoon or a whisk, or use a hand mixer, until you get a smooth, homogeneous batter.
- Divide the 7 Up cake batter into two parts: leave the first part plain, with no additions.
- In the second part of the 7 Up cake batter, add the cocoa powder.
- Hold both batters, one in each hand, and pour them at the same time into a cake pan greased with oil and lightly dusted with flour.
- Place the 7 Up cake pan in a preheated oven at medium temperature for 40 minutes, or until it rises and is cooked through depending on your oven, without opening the oven at all.Timers: 40 min
- Remove the cake from the oven after it is done and set it aside to cool completely before turning it out onto a serving plate and decorating as desired..
