Apple Cake

  • 5 eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 small cup vegetable oil
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • a pinch of salt
  • Cake preparation
  • Caramelized sugar
  • Note: If the sugar has not fully dissolved after preparation, it can be strained.

Method

Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.

  1. Put the vinegar and baking soda together in a small bowl until they fizz... then add them to the cake batter and mix until the batter is uniform
  2. Grease the pan with butter and arrange the apple pieces, then pour the caramelized sugar over them and finally pour the cake batter
  3. Place the pan into the preheated oven and put it in the center for 45 minutes at 180°C

  4. When the cake is baked, turn off the oven and leave the pan inside the oven for 10 minutes....
    Timers: 10 min
  5. Beat the eggs with the sugar, vanilla, and lemon zest until the sugar is completely dissolved... then add the oil and the juice
  6. Then add the flour gradually, followed by the baking powder and a pinch of salt
  7. Place 2 cups sugar in a pan over the heat, stir until they turn light brown, then add 1/4 cup water with a small piece of butter, stir quickly for 10 minutes and turn off the heat
