- 3 cups of red split lentils
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1 dry onion
- 2 carrots
- 2 potatoes
- homemade chicken bouillon cube*
- a pinch of salt
- a pinch of ground black pepper
- a pinch of ground cumin

Method
- Prepare a pot; add 2 tablespoons of oil, then add the crushed garlic and the finely chopped onion and sauté them well...
- Then add the carrots and potatoes, cut into small pieces, along with the homemade chicken bouillon cube and stir well
- Then add the red lentils with a pinch of salt a pinch of ground black pepper a pinch of ground cumin, stir, then add a generous amount of hot water
- Let the lentil soup come to a boil, then reduce the heat and cook for half an hour

- After the soup is cooked, you can put it in a blender or blend it with an immersion blender to achieve a creamy consistency
