Ingredients:

3 cups red split lentils

\r\n

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

\r\n

3 garlic cloves

\r\n

1 onion

\r\n

2 carrots

\r\n

2 potatoes

\r\n

homemade chicken bouillon cube*

\r\n

a pinch of salt

\r\n

a pinch of black pepper

\r\n

a pinch of ground cumin

\r\n

water

\r\n

Method:

\r\n

Heat a pot and add two tablespoons of oil. Add the minced garlic and chopped onion and cook until fragrant.

\r\n

Then add the carrot and potato pieces with the homemade bouillon cube and stir well.

\r\n

Next, add the red lentils with a pinch of salt, black pepper, and cumin. Stir, then add plenty of hot water.

\r\n

Let the lentil soup boil and then reduce the heat for about half an hour.

\r\n

Note:

\r\n

Once cooked, you can blend the soup in a blender or with an immersion blender to achieve a creamy consistency.
