How to Make the Best Brownies?

- 1 1/4 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- pinch of salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup chocolate chunks (optional)
- Chocolate Sauce:
- (Melt two bars of chocolate with a can of plain cream — simmer with 1 tablespoon butter, 2 tablespoons cocoa powder, and 2 tablespoons powdered sugar.')
Method
- Beat the eggs until foamy, then add the sugar while continuing to beat.
- Add the remaining ingredients except the chocolate chunks and continue beating until the mixture is well combined. It will be a bit stiff.
- Fold in the chocolate chunks. Pour the batter into a suitably sized pan greased with butter and a dusting of flour, and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C.
- The brownies will need about 30–40 minutes depending on your oven.Timers: 40 min
- Let the brownies cool, then pour the chocolate sauce over them and decorate as desired...
- Place the sauce on the stove, stirring until thickened.
- You can add a little milk if you want to thin the mixture.
- Alternatively, you can blend 1 cup milk with 1 cup sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa powder in a blender until smooth, then gradually whisk in 1 cup oil like a thread until the mixture thickens.
