Oatmeal Cookies
A very special oatmeal cookie recipe — wholesome and delicious. These cookies combine oats with chocolate chips and dried fruit. Walnuts can be added if you like :)

Ingredients
Start here, then move straight into the method.
- 1/2 cup coconut oil or butter
- 1/2 cup brown or white sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 1/4 cups rolled oats
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 cup dried cranberries or any dried fruit
- 1/2 cup white or dark chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts - optional
Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Add the coconut oil and sugar and whisk them with an electric mixer
- Add the egg and whisk it as well
- In another bowl, combine the flour, oats, and baking soda, then add the flour mixture to the egg mixture
- Add the dried fruit and beat them briefly with the electric whisk until combined
- Then add the chocolate chips and walnuts and stir with a wooden spoon
- Chill the oatmeal cookie dough in the refrigerator for about twenty minutes
- After the time has passed, shape the dough into rounds, place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, and press them slightly
- Place the tray in a preheated oven at 180°C for about ten minutes
- Allow the oatmeal cookies to cool to room temperature, then serve
