Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup coarse semolina
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon yeast
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 2 cups fresh green za'atar (thyme mixture)
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • Warm water for kneading

Method

Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.

  1. Mix the dry ingredients, then add the olive oil and gradually add warm water until you have a cohesive dough.
  2. Let the dough rest for at least one hour to rise.
  3. Divide the dough into small portions as desired, roll out on a clean surface and shape.
  4. Let them rest for 10 minutes, then bake in an oven preheated to 180°C (356°F) until golden.
