Ingredients

  • Plain biscuits (not filled)
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon tahini halva (Shamiya sweet)
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • A pinch of vanilla
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped walnuts
  • Milk (liquid)
  • 2 cups fresh whipping cream
  • 1 cup desiccated coconut
  • In the second mixture we will obtain what resembles a soft, moist dough.
  • Take a little of this moist or soft dough and form it into small balls, then coat them or place a little of the first, firmer dough over them.
  • Dip the balls, which are now composed of two layers, into desiccated coconut.
  • Set them aside to cool before serving.

Method

  1. First, crush the biscuits and grind them. Add the cocoa, 2 tablespoons of the sugar, the butter, the tahini halva, and the vanilla. Mix with the liquid milk until you get a smooth mixture, then add the chopped walnuts.
  2. In a separate bowl, whip the fresh cream with a little desiccated coconut, the remaining 2 tablespoons of sugar, and a pinch of vanilla.
  3. The second mixture should become something like a soft, runny dough.
  4. Take a little of this moist, soft dough and shape it into small balls, then coat them or add a little of the first, firmer mixture on top.
  5. Dip the two-layer balls in desiccated coconut.
  6. Leave them aside to cool before serving.
