Coconut Custard Mold.. an inventive and delicious recipe for serving custard with the delicious flavor of coconut.. Try it and you will definitely make it again!
Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup grated coconut
- 3 tablespoons custard powder
- 3 tablespoons starch
- 3 cups liquid milk
- or
- 3 cups water and 1 cup milk powder
- syrup or sugar syrup, as desired
- small container of cream or clotted cream
- pistachios, walnuts, or cashews for garnish
Method
- Dissolve the custard powder, starch, and sugar in the milk.
- Add the coconut, stir, and place the mixture over the heat until it thickens.
- Add the cream and stir well. Sprinkle the pistachios in the bottom of a cake mold, then pour the mixture over it.
- When the mixture cools, place the mold in the refrigerator until it sets and firms up.
- After the time has passed, invert the mold onto a serving plate.
- Drizzle syrup over the Coconut Custard Mold and serve.
