Chicken Fajita
Chicken fajita is a practical, satisfying recipe that came from Mexico and found its way into kitchens across the Arab world. Here is a delicious way to prepare it.
Ingredients
Start here, then move straight into the method.
- Half a kilo of chicken fillet or chicken breast
- 1 can mushrooms
- 1 can corn
- 1 large onion
- 1 sweet green pepper
- 2 grated carrots
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon yogurt
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 teaspoons fajita seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Cut the onion and pepper into strips or thin slices.
- Sauté the onion briefly in a little oil, then add the pepper right away and stir a little. We do not want the vegetables to cook through, only to soften.
- Add the carrot, then the corn and mushrooms, and stir.
- Finally, add the sliced chicken and stir.
- Add the salt, spices, and all the remaining ingredients, then stir until the ingredients are cooked. It will take about 20 minutes over medium heat, without covering the pot so the juices do not come out of the chicken and vegetables.Timers: 20 min
- Open the samoon bread roll, spread a little ketchup and mayonnaise inside, and fill it with chicken fajita and French fries as desired.
