All-Purpose Dough
An all-purpose dough — very easy to make. Use it for any pastry you like: manaqish, pizza or savory pies.

Ingredients
Start here, then move straight into the method.
- Stage One
- 2 cups warm water
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- Stage Two
- 3 cups flour
- 3 tbsp powdered milk
- 1/2 cup oil

Method
Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.
- Put all Stage One ingredients in a bowl, mix and leave for 10 minutes to ferment.Timers: 10 min
- After 10 minutes, add the remaining ingredients — the 3 cups flour, powdered milk and oil — and knead well.
- Let the dough rest and rise before using.
