Ingredients
- 2 cups hulled wheat (or more to taste)
- 500 g meat (cut into shank pieces)
- Salt
- Ground cinnamon and 2 cinnamon sticks
- Baharat (seven-spice blend)

Method
- Rinse the wheat, boil it until partially cooked, then set it aside.
- Boil the meat once and discard the first cooking water. Then add fresh water with salt, the cinnamon sticks and the onion, and cook in a pressure cooker for 20 minutes or in a regular pot until the meat is fully tender.Timers: 20 min
- After the meat is cooked, add the boiled wheat to the pot with the meat and simmer together so the dish thickens and the flavors meld.
- Add seasonings such as salt, ground cinnamon and baharat (seven-spice).
- You can continue cooking the wheat until the grains are fully tender but not mashed, depending on the texture you prefer.
