How to Make Fettuccine Pasta

Ingredients

  • 3 boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 (500 g) package fettuccine pasta
  • 2 cups milk
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream, or a container of unsweetened qashta cream
  • 1 can sliced mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella or Parmesan cheese
  • White pepper
  • Black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Parsley for garnish

Method

Follow the cooking sequence without leaving the page.

  1. Finely chop the garlic cloves
  2. In a frying pan over medium heat, put one tablespoon of butter and a little of the chopped garlic and sauté
  3. Add the chicken breasts cut into small cubes over the garlic and sauté
  4. When the chicken turns golden, sprinkle salt and white pepper, stir, and turn off the heat. In another pot, put a little butter and the remaining chopped garlic and the finely chopped onion and sauté over medium heat
  5. When the onion changes color, add the sliced mushrooms and sauté for five minutes with a pinch of white pepper and salt
  6. Sprinkle the flour over the mushrooms and stir in a circular motion, then pour in the cream (or crème fraîche) with the milk and stir in a circular motion until the mixture boils
  7. Add the cheese to the mixture while stirring, then add the previously fried chicken pieces. Leave this mixture over low heat until it thickens slightly
  8. Boil the pasta in salted water with a tablespoon of vegetable oil, drain it and place it in the serving dish
  9. Pour the milk, cream, and chicken mixture over the pasta and garnish with parsley or grated cheese or as desired
